1.) Rooms with a View 2.) Pet info 3.) Making Reservations
There are so many Myrtle Beach hotels and Myrtle Beach accommodations that it literally offers thousands of accomodations, considering the sheer numbers it is almost impossible to list them all.
It is important to know the difference between the views of the rooms when booking a room/s for your stay. Rooms closest to the beach can be considered oceanfront. Those who have a view of the ocean and beach but do not directly face it are called oceanview rooms. Rooms for instance on the west but on the east side of Ocean Blvd. are often called a sideview. The terms poolside and streetside are other instances which a room could be used to describe your room. Make sure you confirm the location of your room before making your reservation.
Myrtle Beach is not really that pet friendly anymore when it comes to pets. The reasons for this seems to be because of folks used to bring their exotic pets (iguanas, boa constrictors, ferrets, etc) with them to the heavily populous area of Ocean Blvd. which caused a stir amidst other pedestrians. This law prohibits animals of any kind within the Myrtle Beach downtown area from March 1st through September 30th. Below are 6 hotels which allow them at anytime.

The sooner you know you are going to coming to Myrtle Beach on vacation the better. This is because the population of Myrtle Beach grows from roughly 25,000 people to the hundreds of thousands on any given day during the summer months. Be prepared to make some sort of deposit for your stay. Most of the properties along the Grand Strand do require a deposit which is credited back on your bill. Usually these deposits are equal to a nights stay. Don't come to Myrtle Beach with your checkbook as most or all of accomodations require use of credit cards, cash, or travelers cheques. Be prepared to state time you plan to arrive, depart, the number in your party, and length of your stay. From September through March or April rates will drop considerably, during these months the weather is still nice and there are a lot less people in town. This is a great time to come on vacation as most of the businesses stay open year round.
